Neptune is an epic, long building progressive track containing a deep droning baseline, beautiful strings and a simple but oh so effective plucky melody. Pluto, on the other hand, is a more energetic track with a bubbling background arp, lush pads and big stabs. 2009-02-09 00:00:00 - Bastards of Funk and Sonic Union are back with a new EP on Lowbit Records. This time they are changing the pace and are delivering 2 excellent progressive house tracks. First is "Glitter". A great progressive track with a massive deep baseline with a great rolling arpeggio and stabby strings. This track has already gathered some great support and was featured on the "Global Underground 2009" compilation. "Bam Bam" centers around a really dirty electroish baseline, that is certain to get the dance floor vibrating! Release date hasn't been finalized yet, but expect it soon at your local digital music dealer.

2008-05-14 00:00:00 - Promos for Lowbit Records 001 is now out, this is what people are saying: There are debut releases and then there are DEBUT RELEASES, and this is certainly one that will be causing more than a melee on the dance floors of the world. This release should easily give a taste of the high quality to come from this imprint, with two equally satisfying yet entirely different tracks. Whilst the aptly titled Welcome to Detroit with its sleazy, basement style jackin' techno vibe and it's awesome Detroit influences does the damage in its own techy unique way, Afterdark takes things deeper and darker, crossing between tech house, minimal and progressive perfectly. You know these both will do the absolute business on any discerning dance floor. Both are ace tracks, I'm really liking Afterdark in particular, its going to be a big record that for a lot of Djs. Heads down fucked up drug music, perfect for DC10 and Space in Ibiza.
