Lowbit Records was formed in early 2008 by Swedish duo Bastards of Funk and Sonic Union.
Together they have released music on labels such as Aurium Recordings, Powerplant Recordings and Commonwealth Recordings and have been getting support from almost all the major DJ's in the world.
The style of LBR is a mix of tech house / techno and progressive house, all with a funky, dirty and groovy common base. LBRs main focus is to release material from Bastards of Funk and Sonic Union themselves but also to find music that really appeals to them, be it from friends or new artists and put it out there.
LBR001 was released in May/June of 2008 and caused quite a buzz in the industry.
